Form blocks by engine: what Mistral, Landing AI and Reducto mark on a form
Every OCR engine sorts a page into blocks of fixed types. Which types Mistral, Landing AI and Reducto each have for the parts of a form (fields, checkboxes, key-value pairs, signatures), and what came back on our form pages.
Key takeaways
- Mistral OCR 4.1 has no form block: of its 13 types only signature helps, and checkboxes appear inside list items.
- Landing AI's field type (checkbox, radio, write-in, each blank or filled) is only on its DPT-3 Verity preview, and none came back on our 8 form pages.
- Reducto returns Key Value blocks: the most common type on our 8 form pages, 27 of them.
The scoreboard
The numbers load from /api/public/scoreboards/form-blocks-by-engine.
How it was measured
Block types and settings come from each vendor's API spec, the definitive list, and its docs pages, read on Oct 3 2026. What came back comes from the raw responses of our runs on the 8 form pages of the Forms · Level 1 board, and for Mistral from the 1,487 pages stored in our app. This board ranks nothing: it records what each engine can tell you about a form before any second pass.
