The Register, Triage and the Workfile measure a case the same way: **Matched Docs**.

## What counts

In "5 of 17 Matched Docs", 17 is every requirement the case's list asks for, and 5 is how many of them are settled:

- **Accepted**: a document was approved for it, including an incomplete approval. A requirement that expects sets needs a document for every declared set.
- **Covered**: another requirement in its group was accepted. Example: an accepted Passport covers "Government ID — Driver License".

A document the run matched but nobody approved does not count. Neither does an archived one.

Example: of 17 requirements, a pay stub and a W-2 are approved, and the approved Passport covers the driver's license: 3 of 17 Matched Docs.

The other two figures:

- **need you**: requirements with a flag to resolve, or a required document missing.
- **on the clock ≤30d**: requirements whose document expires, or goes stale, within 30 days. The Timeline shows each clock.

## Where it shows

Over the API, `GET /applications` reports the same count for each case.

## A requirement's tag

| Tag | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| Accepted | A person accepted a document for it. |
| Covered | An accepted alternative satisfies it. |
| Clean | A document is filed here, read with no flags, and not accepted yet. |
| Needs you | A document is filed here with a flag to resolve. |
| Intake | Uploaded through the intake form; no run has read it yet. |
| Filed | Pages were filed here by hand in Doc Review. |
| Missing | Required, and not found in the case. A critical one also reads "Blocks underwriting until filed". |
| Not found | Supporting, and not found in the case. |

Only Accepted and Covered count in Matched Docs.
