## The skill

- **claude.ai and the Claude app:** download [sheaf-skill.zip](/sheaf-skill.zip). Open **Customize → Skills**, click
  **+ Add**, upload the zip, and turn the skill on.
- **Claude Code:** unzip it into your skills folder, for every project:

  ```
  unzip sheaf-skill.zip -d ~/.claude/skills
  ```

  or into one project's `.claude/skills/` folder.

## The plugin

The same skill plus the [Sheaf connector](/docs/agents/connect-claude), in one upload. Plugins work on Claude's Pro,
Max, Team and Enterprise plans.

1. Download [sheaf-claude-plugin.zip](/sheaf-claude-plugin.zip).
2. In Claude, open **Customize → Plugins → Add → Upload plugin**, and choose the zip.
3. On the plugin's **Connectors** tab, click **Add**, then **Connect**. Sign in to Sheaf if asked, and click **Allow**.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner uploads it under **Organization settings → Plugins & skills → Add → Upload a
plugin**, and adds the connector under **Organization settings → Connectors**. Each member then clicks **Connect**.

The plugin is saved to your Claude account, so it also works in the Claude app, in Cowork, and in Claude Code signed
in with the same account. A new version is a new zip; on Team and Enterprise, an Owner chooses **Upload new version**
in the plugin's menu.

## Use it

Ask Claude: "Connect to my Sheaf account." With the connector, Claude uses its tools. Without it, or for what the
tools don't cover, such as a new case from a packet, Claude gives you a link to open: see
[Connect an agent with a code](/docs/agents/connect-an-agent).

## Good to know

- **The skill is [/skill.md](/skill.md),** the same guide agents read on the web, under the MIT license.
- **In a Claude chat,** Claude's code environment has to reach sheaf.us (see
  [Adding files](/docs/agents/connect-claude#adding-files)). Connected with a link, each new chat connects again;
  the connector's sign-in lasts 30 days from its last use.
